Mark your calendars for Friday, April 29th- the date for the CMC's annual Springboard fundraiser. The event is organized by the CMC's board and volunteers as a way to jumpstart our fundraising for the traditionally slower summer months. As with past years, we will have food from many area restaurants to indulge in, and a silent auction for art and various services.

We also feature a guest speaker for a short talk and Q&A. This year we are thrilled to have author and NPR and BBC commentator Diane Roberts. Diane's recent book Dream State: Eight Generations of Swamp Lawyers, Conquistadors, Confederate Daughters, Banana Republicans, and other Florida Wildlife is a rollicking commentary on history and current affairs of the state we call home.

Springboard will be on Friday, April 29th, from 6pm-9pm at the lovely home of CMC board member Paula Stahmer.
