Summer Peace Camp

The Florida Coalition for Peace and Justice is again holding their annual Peace Camp this summer. The week-long multicultural gathering is held in two sessions, youth (ages 15-21) runs from June 25-July 1. The camp for ages 10-14 runs July 9-15th. Both camps will be held at the teaching farm just north of Gainesville this year. The camp teaches a wide variety of useful life skills, from creative non-violence methods, mechanical skills, knowledge of environmental principles, conflict resolution, peer mediation and consensus decision-making.
