...At least that's the attitude one takes under even the most dreadful circumstances. Remember, very few great photographs are taken--they're usually made--and it's usually a struggle.
I spend a lot of my time out on the road making photographs of things that are just plain ugly--or just plain AND ugly! It's always a challenge, whether it's in a coal mine, a power plant, a corporate boardroom, or an educational institution--it's never the same set of circumstances.
These days, it seems that most of my problem solving is done on location at industrial and corporate sites in the US, Canada and Western Europe and on college campuses throughout the US.
