I enjoy shooting outdoors at home in Florida, but always am amazed at the scale of the Western US and its vast landscapes. This shot was made on Kodak Tri-X Pan with the Fuji GA645 camera.
I keep thinking that I'll get more time to shoot all of the strange fishing related places I find while out on the road. Jane's Bait and Tackle, Kate's Fish Camp, Hook-Line & Sinker and Yankeetown Boat Company are still on the "short list"! This was shot with the GA645 and Plus-X Professional film.
Places like this abandoned garden at a convent interest me as well. This shot is proof that having a camera in your pocket is smart. I made the photo with my old Nikon Action Touch and Kodacolor Gold 400 film.
Throughout the Southern United States, there are still a few second and third generation merchants whose Jewish immigrant parents started and ran successful dry goods, clothing, shoe and specialty stores. I hope to get more time in the next few years to photograph the remaining few. I'd also appreciate any knowledge anyone has of individuals who still own a family store in the South. This shot was made with a Fuji GS645W and Tri-X film.
