  1. Bolen Bluff Trail - 2.8 miles round trip - shared with hikers - Shady hammock loop trail with a spur to an elevated platform that gives a scenic view of the prairie. Off Hwy 441.
  2. Cones Dike Trail - 8.4 miles round trip - shared with ith hikers - Sunny, long trail through the heart of the preserves wet prairie and prairie creek flow marsh. Main park entrance.
  3. Jacksons Gap Trail - 1.2 miles - shared with hikers and equestrians - Connects Cones Dike and Chacala Trails. Main park entrance.
  4. Chacala Trail - 6.5 miles - shared with hikers and equestrians - Extensive pineland trail system with a fine view of Chacala Pond. Trail can be seasonally wet. Main park entrance.
  5. Gainesville-Hawthorne State Trail - 16 miles one way - shared with many other user groups-State recreational trail. Two lanes, one paved the other a natural surface. Connects Gainesville with Hawthorne by way of abandonded rail bed. Overlooks of Sweetwater basin and Alachua Lake. Multiple trailheads. See map.
