Ocala After a hundred years of service, the Lord called B. F. home on Saturday, August 24, 2013. A devout Christian, he knew what was important in life and lived his life accordingly.
B. F. was born July 29, 1913 in Zuber, FL and was a resident of Marion County his entire life; living on the same property for almost the last eighty years.
After helping open, he managed Roquemore's Auto Parts, Inc. until his retirement in 1984. He also served as Past Master and member of Marion Dunn Masonic Lodge for fifty-five years; and was a charter member of Woodside Baptist Chruch.
He was preceded in death by his parents George Nuby and Dora B. Shealy; his wife of sixty-six years, Louise; his brothers, George "Nuby" Shealy, Jr. of Ocala and Bert Shealy of Columbia, MS.
Survivors include his son, Richard Shealy, Ocala; granddaughter, Deanna Valles, Carrabelle, FL and two brothers, Arch Shealy, Reuel Shealy, both of Ocala.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Marion County or Woodside Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 27, 2013 from 1 PM until time of service at 2 PM in the chapel of Hiers Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd with Pastor Paul Daniel officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
