Vegetarian Events, the local animal rights/vegetarian organization, will host its second annual southeast regional conference on Saturday, February 24 at the Holiday Inn West in Gainesville.

Experts from around the country and state will speak on animal rights issues. The purpose of the event is to bring together like-minded people and find ways to work together on the many issues of animal abuse, and for participants to take information back to their communities and become more active in spreading the facts about animal abuse.
