The Honorable Shirley Chisholm, former U.S. Congresswoman from NY, was the featured speaker at the Women's Equality Day luncheon Aug. 26 in Gainesville, organized by Friends of Susan B. Anthony. A capacity corwd heard the former presidential candidate (1972) address gains made and gains still to be won in the struggle for women's equality.
