October is Vegetarian Awareness Month

Vegetarian Events will be involved with a number of projects to promote vegetarian awareness this month. There will be a display at the local libraries, cooking demonstrations and nutrition lectures, a vegetarian video series, a country gathering and camp-out, and the annual World Vegetarian Day Picnic and Ghandi look-alike contest, which will be held Sunday, October 1 from 1-5 p.m. at the Florida School for Massage, 6421 SW 13th St.
