You may recognize her from her most recent movie American Pie. You may not recognize the name, though, as her stage name is Mena Suvari.

To start at the point at which it is relevant, I went to Hillsborough High School in Tampa, FL, and now I'm at the University of Florida as an Aerospace Engineering Major in the Aerospace Department.

In fact, this summer I'm up here in Gainesville doing research in the area of my major. You won't be able to see any of my work on the web, but you can read about the area I'm researching. It pertains to Micro Air Vehicles, or MAVs. I designed a balance that fits inside a dummy fuselage of an MAV and measures the lift and drag forces and the pitching moment. It is a piece of work for sure. I've got a picture of that, but it is yet to be developed. As soon as I get a paper written, I'll post it and you can look it up in a fit of insomnia.

Other than researching during this summer, I am also pursuing my interest in flying.

I had hoped to have started playing hockey a lot, but it just didn't happen. Not that I can really tell you what I've been doing with my evenings instead of playing... Roller hockey is one of the sports in the fall intramural season, and we hope to put a team together and enter. To compete competetively in that season, we really need to be playing now and getting good. Hmmm.
