I've made this page so that other people interested in earning a pilot's license can see what the actual experience might be like. While I was getting to the point where I would start my lessons, I forever wondered what would happen and in what order. H ow much would this thing cost for real? There is some kind of implied chornology to all the madness. What is it?

These were some of the questions I had, and possibly some of the questions other people have, too.

So, I've posted a log of my lessons. They are arranged by date in the following table with the costs of each individual lesson. Follow the link to find a description of that lesson.

I completed my first solo on August 4, 1999. That lesson left me with 12.1 hours of flight time, 19.4 hours of instructor time, and slightly over $1200. Please read the flight description for this day and the several previous for more of an explanation of the timing.
