The Conference Planning Committee is currently accepting proposals for workshops during the 2000 Conference. Workshops of 1 ½ hours in length will be held concurrently during 3 breakout periods with a total of 9-12 workshops. Workshop presenters will receive a free conference registration. Target audiences include: rape crisis counselors, victim advocates, prevention educators, rape crisis program administrators, law enforcement, prosecutors, therapists and medical professionals. Proposals must be received by Friday April 14th in order to be considered.

(1) The Information Exchange: an important component of the Conference that offers attendees a wonderful opportunity to gather information, ideas and materials from programs across the US and other parts of the world

(2) Exhibitor: offering attendees everything from the marketing of new software for victim/witness programs, to the selling of jewelry and clothing to support sexual assault programs and domestic violence shelters

(3) Proposal to Present a workshop: conduct a workshop at this year’s conference
