AD&D Ring : The Fantasy Website Ring
Joining the AD&D Ring

Please take a few minutes to read these rules of the AD&D Ring before you join. It's very simple to follow the rules, and just as simple not to follow them.

The Rules

Your site must obey the following rules to be part of the AD&D Ring:

  1. Your site must be fantasy, role-playing and/or AD&D related
  2. The banner **MUST** be present on your site
  3. The banner **MUST** be located on the page (or in the frameset of the page) registered when applying to join the webring. This means that if you register your site as http://www.mysite.com, when I open my browser to http://www.mysite.com, the banner will be visible without clicking on any links.
  4. The banner **MUST NOT** appear in a pop-up window.

If you do not follow these rules, your site is liable to be:

  • Suspended from the ring. Suspended sites are regularly deleted, with at least two weeks notice.
  • Deleted from the ring.

If our site is deleted from the ring, you will need to re-apply to join the ring to become a member again.

Solutions

  1. After you join Webring.com and the AD&D webring, a link will be available on the Webring.com site to download the navigation bar code. Webring.com offers you the option of using the Server-Side Navigation Bar (SSNB) or an HTML navigation bar. Personally, I prefer the SSNB for its ease of use and small size, but the choice is yours. By all means, please download the code.
  2. Copy and paste the navigation bar code onto the page you registered with the webring on your site.
  3. If your web site uses frames, you may want to create a special frameset to hold a page with the webring navigation bar. This is completely optional.
