The deposition of L.W. Powell taken at the
law office of Jno G. Bailey in Dixon Ky on
thursday Nov 30th 1893 to be read in behalf
of the Plffs on the trial of an action
now pending in the Webster Circuit Court
wherein L.W. Powell &c are Plffs and
John Powell &c defendants the deponent
being of lawful age and first duly
sworn says:
I am 37 years old reside in Webster Co
Ky near the land sought to be sold in
this action.  I have known the land pretty
well all my life.  I am the L.W. Powell
who is one of the grantors of said land
to H.H. Powell now dec'd mentioned &
described in Plffs petition  I and 
my wife and Geo Wilson and his aife
conveyed the 16 and one of the 6 acre
tracts mentioned and described to the
said H.H. Powell and I bought of
the deft R.T. Wilson the other 6 acre tract
mentioned and described in the petition
by title bond, and afterward I sold
said 6 acre tract of land to the said
H.H. Powell an no deed has ever yet
