you mac?

Well hello everyone.

Today (tonight) is a very special day indeed. I am going to be computerless for a while. But you ask yourself-- "Hey how can glypher update the page without a computer?" Allow me to explain further. Due to events beyond my control, i found my computer off this evening and not able to turn back on. I'm guessing it's the power supply (a nice $35 fix) rather than anything "expensive". So, i yanked the power supply in the hopes of getting it replaced. We'll cross that bridge tomorrow.

Back to why I can still update the page... Sienna (patti in rl) has this BEAUTIFUL mac powerbook from work. So i managed to dig up the old dial-up number and login to blogger using it (the mac). Wasn't that a wonderful story? Screw you... they cant all be Readers Digest quality gems.

Saturday was a small gathering at the glyph's house for the manhandling of the gators by LSU. I just stoped watching the bloodbath around the second half and decided to enjoy ribs and cocktail weiners. People seemed to enjoy themselves even during the carnage.

I will be kicking back with a day off tomorrow thanks to the goofball who ran into this hunk of rock known as the "new world". whatever. I could care less. if it means a day off, i'll buy in.
