I hope everyone had a nice labor day weekend. As for me, I took my son over to see his grandparents. All went well. We took my parents new boat out and spent the day fishing and scalloping. The whole weekend went by with no video game interaction (form me or my son). Now i only mention this because that's what we like to do. Well... that, and play with my 15 year old transformers-

Sienna (patti to all who know her in real life) cooked up the scallops that we caught over the weekend. Scrum-dilly-umptious. I'll say it once, and I'll say it again... nothing beats the flavor of bottom/filter feeders. Scallops, crawfish, lobster, crabs. Why is it that anything that eats the crap off of the ocean floor is the best-tasting stuff? let me know if you can figure it out.

Rounding out my weekend was a five hour drive to get back to see OPC and The Know How. Good show except some freaking loon decided to jump up on stage and show his ass. People like that should be molested by supermodels. very hot, FEMALE supermodels. yeah, that'll show 'em

oh, and if i haven't mentioned it to you... there's gonna be a

PARTY THIS WEEKEND AT glypher'S HOUSE!

If you have not yet been invited then contact me... I'm sure i just forgot you.... ya know, because you're not important and stuff. That or because we hate you. Then when you do call I'll have to make up a strange excuse why i dont want you to come, then it will be awkward... on second thought dont contact me. I never really wanted you there in the first place. We're just gonna be talking shit about you anyways. Talking shit about you to the hot chicks that will be showing up... and drinking large quantities of beer ... while playing naked twister. Man, this is gonna be SOOOO sweet, and you're not invited! HA!

now for those people who are still with me and you think the above doesn't apply to you, you can still contact me and I'll send you a map or something.

As for stuff for the gathering... I will be preparing my world famous ... err statewide famous... (ok, noone else has had them, but they're DAMED good) Bar-B-Que Ribs and Deep-Fried Turkey! I imagine that there will be enough for everyone. As for YOU. I want you all to bring liquid refreshments. (I dont think i need to spell it out any more than that). Also it would be nice for each of you to bring something to share with the others, like a salad, potato salad, or something like that. but please NO CHIPS. and I'll say it again... NO CHIPS. last time i had a party i had 12 bags of chips left over. so DONT BRING CHIPS. If you are "a vegitarian" or "a vegan" or "a freak that cant enjoy the flesh of other formerly-living creatures" bring some veggies and I can grill 'em up for you.

Last thing... I need some nice people to bring some oil so i can fry the turkey. What i need is about 5-6 gallons of peanut oil. since it's about 5 bucks a gallon, it would be nice if a few of you could bring some over. Call me or email me and volunteer… you damned freeloaders.
