now that i've had my penguins I'm ready to continue. News as of late: My back is still killing me. But i've made an appointment at the chiropractor to re-align by warped bones. not that i really needed to do this, i mean i coulda put it off for another week or so, but monday is the warped tour in Jacksonville, and i know i dont want to be hobbling around with a bad back.

did i mention that the warped tour was Monday? well, it is. for Jacksonville anyways. This will be the first "festival" type concert I have attended since the Florida music festival. I have a mental list of who i want to see. Bosstones, reel big fish, One Pump Chump, Bad Religion, Hot Water Music, The Know How. As the day comes closer i'll have more info.

Last weekend was "spend time with the offspring" weekend. Which means i got to do "dad" type things with my son. One of these was busting-out an old box of my transformers. It's amazing how cool these things are even today, even to a new generation of kids. Of course i believe in the old addage: that if you give a kid a toy that comes in a big box, he'll end up playing with the big box instead. Creativity makes toys cool. And if you ever saw my desk at work, i think you would grant me authority on this subject.

nothing really happening this week. No shows that i HAVE to go to, no things i HAVE to do. So most of my attention will be focused on getting GainesvilleBands.com functional by next week. I would LOVE to get the thing rolling before school starts in the fall. This may be detrimented (is that a word?) by WarCraft3 and Never Winter Nights. Oh, BTW- i'm in the firm belief that Blizzard and BioWare sell crack. Digital Crack. I cant stop playing these games. I have even cut down on my "productive work" time i used to spend at home working on projects. But i sit there working on a webpage and i swear to god the little icon on my desktop winks at me, as if to say "play with me big boy. Stroke my textured bump-mapping. Hey, maybe we can do a little "multiplayer" action?" And for the love of god i cant resist. I thought i could ween myself back off of WC3 and NWN by introducing a little CounterStrike back into my system. No Dice. That was like a SpeedBall. I woke up in a pool of my own (insert "body fluid" joke here) with an addiction to three instead of two.

there's not that much happening today on the workfront, i'm waiting on a response from some forums on a question about JavaScript. And if you know more JavaScript than me, please pop me a note and I'll email you my problem. i could use the help.
