takin what they're givin'... 'cause i'm workin for a livin
I started my new job today, and to say that they're in the middle of a "transitional period" would be putting it litely. I think i'll be kept busy for QUITE a while.
i finished the "rough-display" version of the GAINESVILLEBANDS.COM page. I also finished up the login page and am working on the data-entry portion. BTW- it's not AT gainsvillebands.com just yet... it's still running on glypher@home (see the link above... no higher up... in the header... the thing at the top of the page... next to "contact"... on the right!!!!! aww screw it!!! click here you dumbass).
in other news, my car died. well not actually "died" yet, i think it's the alternator AGAIN. that or the damned battery. in either case i'm out 40-60 bucks. this leads me to my next statement...
I'm thinking of getting a motorcycle. I've debated this for a while and i cant see the justification of owning a car to drive 2 miles to work and then 2 miles home everyday. Sienna (my lovely wife) has her own opinions (and i quote) "there is no fucking way you're getting a motorcycle" and "while you're at it why dont you buy a coffin too" and "you're gonna die a painful bloody death" and "i'm not gonna let you buy a death machine unless it had kavorkian stamped on it". (alright i made that last one up, but you get the point.) SO, as i have done in the past I'm letting it up to the public to decide what I'm gonna do... Introducing POLL-A-RAMA!!!
remember when you vote, I'm a responsible 27 year old, I dont want a sportbike (a 750-1000cc standard would do me nicely), i will always wear a helmet, and i love puppies.
