Status Quo

I haven’t gotten a legitimate job offer yet here in Gainesville, and I'm still working at GeoFocus 'til the end of the month. I will hopefully be sending out MORE résumés this week in the hopes SOMEONE will want to hire a hard working computer geek.

Other things of note: I missed the Skatelites and One Pump Chump show because of my damned ear ache/infection (i got to stop shoving dirty objects in my ear i guess). But i have been feeling a hell of a lot better. i would say back to "normal" but i think i should have a baseline to judge that.

I finally went and bought all the stuff i need to put together my sprinkler system for the house ($650). This is going to be a hell of a weekend project.

I'm planning something for memorial day weekend at my house. Maybe a grill-out. Maybe a "boil". a crab/crawfish/lobster/shrimp boil that is (mmmmm bottom feeders :) The theme of the party all hinges on the employment situation. It could be a farewell-to-GeoFocus-hello-to-new-job memorial day party, OR it could be a glyph-is-unemployed-and-this-is-the-last-meal-he-will-have-not-at-the-homeless-shelter memorial day party. let's hope it's the former.
