I was born and named Robert Lee Lightner in Miami, Florida on
August 25, 1949. I am not exactly sure of my pedigree as I was adopted
upon birth from a "naturopathic" physician by the name of Dr.
Katherine Morris Cole. She ran an illegal abortion/adoption clinic
in her home at 4765 SW 8th Street in Miami from 1935-1962. She did not
keep any records (to try to stay out of jail)! But my nurturing parents,
James and Cecil Mae Lightner were really great,
and I am fortunate to have been one of the lucky babies to have lived to
create this Web page. I wish I could find out about who my real mother
and father were and if I have any blood relatives, but so far I have been
unsuccessful in finding out much more. Here
are some photographs of my early childhood.
I am 6'1" tall, have green eyes and brown hair. I am married to Edna
Ronquillo Lightner and we have one son, James Charles Lightner, who
was born on May 31, 1995. I am employed at Santa
Fe Community College and have held the position of TV
Studio Manager there since 1972. Some of my avocational interests are:
HAM radio (my callsign is: W4GJ),
the art and sport of FENCING
(I am a fencing coach), Astronomy, and Computing. I also videotape and
edit weddings and
other special events.
In the event that someone would care to read my resume, here it is!
Bob's Resume.
