The Virtual Vax Café Home Page

Welcome to the VVC, a unique café on the edge of a city somewhere in cyberspace. Actually, the VVC was a collaborative, ongoing work of cyber-fiction, that lasted for almost two and a half years. It was hosted on the MBBS bulletin board system, on the VAX computer cluster at the University of Florida, and "edited" by yours truly, Max Clarke. But dozens of people contributed to the creation of the Virtual Vax Café, as a virtual community and an interactive narrative. Now the entire story is available on this web site.

The VVC was one continuous story, with many narrative threads overlapping, but here the "VVC Chronicles" have been conveniently divided into four sections (which are further divided into sections of 50 posts each). So dig right in...and bon appetit!
