Mary Jackson is the head of the Science Department. Science students did the preliminary soil testing to determine fertilizer needs. They also did a study of the species of plants that were suitable to the existing soil conditions, and a seperate study of how to raise the pH of the soil to a level suitable for the plants selected for use. These students also did a water quality analysis of the pond that exists on the property.
