Should two plats on the upland of Kanapaha Prairie be approved?
- The plats will allow septic tanks in soil that is porous atop an unconfined aquifer.
- Septic tanks do not function properly in that type of soil.
- There is a serious flaw in the way the county has established the level of flooding in the area.
- Photographic evidence of flooding where houses are built was put on the record.
- The plats will fragment the last remaining section of upland.
