Should the commission adopt the final budget for FY02?
- Some homeowners will have an increase of over 6%.
- Commissioner Newport said part of the increase is the fault of the property appraiser.
- Commissioner Byerly said part of the problem is caused by "additional fiscal responsibilities imposed by new growth in our
community."*
- Commissioner Wheat said the commission should have adopted the budget which did not require a tax increase. (Submitted by Randy Reid, County Manager)
