Florida Shakespeare Theatre
NEW ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
After a nationwide search, Florida Shakespeare Theatre, with much
excitement, has named local Miamian Juan F. Cejas
as artistic director of its new performance facility at the Biltmore Hotel
in Coral Gables. Cejas, formerly artistic director of Acme Acting Company
from 1985 to 1994, looks forward to meeting the challenges of the Florida
Shakespeare Theatre's upcoming season.
Florida Shakespeare Theatre will launch its 1996-1997 season this fall
with John Guare's Six Degrees of Separation, You're A Good Man,
Charlie Brown, Snoopy, William Shakespeare's Julius
Caesar and
Antony and Cleopatra, and Eugene O'Neill's Hairy Ape.
