This is an index to information about the effort to reform Student Government at the University of Florida by a group of students
calling themselves the Committee for Student Sovereignty. The
Committee for Student Sovereignty is an organization established under
the umbrella of the Independent
Student Coalition.
We in the Committee are working hard to make the system that supposedly represents us do
its job of being a student government, instead of a power machine for Florida Blue Key. As part of that work, we are
doing everything we can to educate and inform the student body of the process and what they can do about it, as well
as why something should be done. That is the purpose of this page.

What can I do?
If you're interested in helping the effort, there are many things you can do.
- Send
email to
Dr. Lombardi telling him how you feel as a student, alumni, or
concerned community member. Whoever you are, your mail can help.
(Please note that this mail link will also send to us so that we can
also gauge how people feel. This can be removed very easily depending on
your web browser should you desire "privacy". And we won't put your
letter on this site without your consent.)
- Tell your friends about what is going on! Give them this URL:
http://www.cis.ufl.edu/~eah/sg/initiative/
- Send us email. Questions,
comments, suggestions, donations, and assistance are needed and
appreciated. Get involved!
- Vote! We will get the
chance, so when it comes, use it.
