Fairgrounds GARC Table EMWIN Receive Test April 26 Gainesville Hamfest S5 J-pole ~ 4' AGL Jeff Capehart/W4UFL A.C. Fairgrounds GARC Table EMWIN Receive Test * About 80-percent efficiency rating. (80-percent good packets and 20-percent bad packets.) Worked better than expected. Was able to successfully demonstrate EMWIN for passers-by at the hamfest using RealEMWIN software on a laptop with video put out to an external monitor, and using a WX-41 demodulator hooked up to an HT and a temporarily mounted J-pole atop a 4-foot pole that was stuck into the ground at the front entrance of the building for a better signal.
