Meeting Agenda (dated 9/10/98)

 

The next meeting of the Working Group will be September 18, 1998, at Poe Springs Park from 10 am until 4 pm. The entrance to Poe Springs is approximately three miles west of High Springs on NW 182 Av. (SR340). There is a Poe Springs Park sign on the north side of the road. Please identify yourself as an attendee of the Santa Fe Springs Water Quality Working Group, to the park staff at the gate, to have the admission fee waived.

It is very important that all stakeholders attend! We will be clarifying our purpose as a work group and formulating a work plan for the next year. We want this process to be responsive to the needs and concerns of each of you. Enclosed is a draft Mission Statement proposed by DEP staff, a list of stakeholders and a chart of related activities. Please come prepared to refine these documents and shape a practical, productive work plan at the meeting.

Dr. Tom Taylor with Florida Conflict Resolution Consortium will facilitate the meeting.

Dr. John Owens has indicated that he would like to network with group participants via e-mail and that he is willing to design a web page for the Working Group. Please provide him with your address if you are interested in assisting in the web page development or in receiving information electronically.
