Santa Fe Springs Water Quality Work Group
September 18, 1998 Meeting Summary
Overview
The Work Group agreed to the following mission statement, "To preserve and improve the water quality of surface and ground water that impact the Santa Fe River and springs study area." This meeting of stakeholders met to initiate a work plan for the next year. Participants clarified the desired outcomes for the work group from different stakeholder perspectives, reviewed activities affecting the river and springs and developed action team plans for activities to be completed in preparation for the next quarterly work group meeting.
This meeting summary is basically a compilation of the flip chart transcripts from each session of the agenda on page two. The notes capture the essence of the comments but do not reflect everything or exactly what was said. This report is intended to provide the basis for action by the meeting participants and others who choose to contribute to this important process, now or in the future.
