From an Abstract of Title prepared by the Alachua County Abstract Company:

MM Parrish & Elma P. Parrish to Kentucky Development Co. on 11/7/25

Arthur K. Stringfellow & Birdie K. Stringfellow to MM Parrish on 6/11/25

According to Alachua County Property Appraiser records, deed records suggest that the 0.2-acre lot was vacant and unbuilt from 1925 to 1935. The house now standing at the lot was built in 1935. There is some possibility that the house was the first house built on NE 5th Street from NE 10th Avenue to NE 13th Avenue.

Coincidentally (?), the apparent builder of the house (Kentucky Development Co.) has the same name as the former name of NE 5th St (Kentucky Avenue).

Highland Heights subdivision was platted on 11/4/25.

In 1934, the assessed value of 1219 NE 5th Street was $700, indicating that it was vacant at that time. As of 2001, the lot is assessed at $20,000.
