Travel Companion Wanted

I seek a travel partner (or partners) with a thirst for adventure travel. You are female or male. Because I am married, I am not seeking a romantic relationship. What I seek is someone who is…

…adventurous in spirit

…is relatively athletic and fit

…seeks new, diverse experiences; and

…is low-maintenance and rarely complains.

My primary interests:

• European sightseeing
• Scuba diving
• Skiing
• Bicycling
• Hiking
• Contra dancing
• Kayaking and whitewater rafting

Note that the companion I seek does not necessarily need to be proficient or experienced in all of the items I mention in the above bullets. One or two would be fine.

I prefer one to three adventures each year. The 2006-2007 year was close to ideal, when I traveled to Sicily, skied Innsbruck Austria, attended three contra dance weekends, and went scuba diving in Roatan/Utila Honduras.

I live by the following thoughts:

• Life is short. Squeeze as much joy and learning as you can out of it.
• It is those things we DON’T do that we end up regretting.

What I can offer:

• Experience, knowledge, skills, and some training for a wide variety of activities.
