WHO WAS THAT MASKED DUCK?
Dressed in a black duck costume with big yellow duck feet, out members were
treated to a mystery visitor prior to our poultry show. Any guesses to the
identity of this mystery duck?
The show was a great success. Dr. Porcher offered his expert advise and club members are better prepared for the January, South Florida Fair Show.
Tips offered included:
* Check birds to make sure they have a pair of wings, two legs, etc. (Miss
Lee's barred cochin cockerel had one wing).
* Make sure your birds are clean.
* Check the American Standard of Perfection for the specific qualifications of each breed.
