Cub scouting provides fun and exciting activities that help scouts build good character, citizenship, respect for others and a sense of personal achievement. When a boy joins Cub Scouts, he is assigned to a den corresponding to his grade level. The Tiger Cub den (1st graders) meets once or twice monthly, while Wolf Cub (2nd graders), Bear Cub (3rd graders) and Webelos (4th and 5th graders) dens meet weekly. Once a month, all the dens and their family members gather for pack meetings and activities. There are several family camping trips scheduled each year, and scouts can participate in summer day camp.
