Call to Order – 5:07 PM

 

Previous minutes –Approved with no changes

 

TreasurerŐs Report –statements being sent to schools for football

Registrationupdate – list officials not properly registered (attached)

JLAsend copies of info to Bob Leahy as part of assignment committee

 

Old Business -

 

Webpage update – Corey Callaway presentation with more work to be done, willsend update

 

Brawl/GameControl Policy – Carl will continue to specify to MFOA and will email forBoard approval next week.  Onceapproved, Carl will present at the FB All Day Clinic and send copy to FHSAA

 

FootballEvaluations – Discussion included; still working on committee, cost, alsoavailable on the Arbiter, evaluation of play-off crew eligible, sending seniorofficials as ECO, examples from leadership conference, working w/ anotherassociation, rubric.  Will presentplan and email.

 

 

New Business -

 

FootballAll Day Clinic – agenda presented, Ted will email to members.  Primary referees must attend in orderto be eligible for playoff consideration. Uniform strongly encouraged for Friday PM scrimmage, at least an MFOA shirt.  Will provided water on Friday.  Saturday will include coffee, donuts,and fruit in AM with EOC providing lunch around 11:30 am.  Will show USA FB Training DVD.

 

         Fall Scrimmage Dates– 8/20/09 Belleview Contact Ted B.

         8/28/09 St. FrancisContact Carl D.

 

         MCYFL 8/3/09 BoardMeeting – Paul G. attended. Jamboree will be held on 8/29/09. Discussion on payment of officials forthat date revisited.  Motion byPaul Gery to continue this event without pay.  Second by Ed Carey. Motion passes with 2 nays

 

         Primary Refereereplacement – discussion held on Bud Holt taking the year off.  Motion by Carl Dill to keep the crew intact and appoint Bob Leahy to be the primary referee.  2nd by Ted Bedford.  Motion passes.

 

Other – Policy andProcedure update, Jeff DŐAmelio

 

J. Law discussion in regardsto meeting attendance out of season. MFOA Constitution makes this mandatory.  This requirement can only be changed through the AnnualBusiness meeting.
