During the summer months our location in Vail is the place to be. Our condominium complex has one of the few outdoor swimming pools in Vail. It also has a great hot tub. Imagine sitting pool-side looking up at the towering mountains that form the Vail Valley; many of the mountains will still have snow on their peaks in mid summer.
Our Vail condominium is near the national forest trail access for bicycling and hiking; there is a trail near our condo that is paved and off the highway that goes eastward from our condominium for about fifteen miles, and westward about five mile to the shops in downtown Vail. The trail is great for bicycling and for roller-blading or just plain walking. The condominium complex is on the Gore River and next to 7.5 acre Bighorn Park with walking pathways, a beaver pond with an active beaver lodge. There is fishing in both the Gore Creek and the beaver pond at Bighorn Park.
The Town of Vail bus comes by the condominium promptly every hour that takes you to downtown Vail. It is about a ten minute ride on the free Town of Vail bus. With a desire to keep smog and traffic congestion out of Vail the Town of Vail encourages people to take the free bus. There is also free parking in either of the two downtown parking garages.
Thrall Vail Condominiums are no smoking/no pet condos and have a limit of no more than 8 people.
There is a $200 security deposit on all stays that is refundable once our cleaning and maintenance service does the check out inspection/clean and gives us the OK.
The distance from Denver is 100 miles due west on I-70, drive time 1 ½ hours. If you are driving from Denver International Airport the drive time is approximately 2 hours.
