Bonnie E. Lindsey, age 86, of Bloomington, died Saturday afternoon in Meadowood Health Pavilion in Bloomington. Born January 30, 1925, in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Harry and Mabel Mae (Helton) Chambers. She graduated from Bloomington High School and retired from R.C.A. She loved to cook and quilt. She was a longtime and faithful member of the United Pentecostal Church of Highland Village.
She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and LouAnn Lindsey, of Bicknell, Indiana, and Dennis and Elizabeth Lindsey, of Freetown, Indiana; one daughter, Brenda Whitley, of Bloomington; one brother, Harry Lee Chambers, of Metropolis, Illinois; seven grandchildren, BethAnn Martin, Michelle Whitley, Reverend Nathan Whitley, Emily Gaither, James Lindsey, Kendra Lindsey and Daniel Lindsey; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth J. Lindsey, and one brother, Richard Chambers, formerly of Mooresville.
