[811] Isaac was a blacksmith, hatter and a maker and dyer of horse blankets. He died in the same flu epidemic that took his wife, Ann and is buried in the family cemetery along with his father. Isaac Wells old home, built in the early 1800's still stands, located near the old homestead of his father, two miles NW of the Kings Mtn. State Park which is located just south of the state line in York Co, SC.
