The Arts of John P Korb

Photography
At some point in the early 1990s I constructed a darkroom out of what was, then, a spare bedroom in a tiny duplex apartment. No "cave" metaphors needed here - I had to wash the prints in the bathtub and "tone fix" them in the sink. Preferring my father's old Nikon-FG field camera and 35mm T-Max 100/400 film stock, this is pretty much all that remains. The prints are mostly 3x5 / 4x6 and have never been exhibited. Here, in as much as I can make them so, they are presented un-retouched.

Recent, public photos can be seen on flickr.com.
