Dear Mr. Mayeux, I recently read, with great alarm, your proposal to remove all vehicles for free speech by student organizations at the University of Florida (do keep in mind, sir, that free speech INCLUDES THE RIGHT TO DISSENT). This, Kevin, not only smacks of the same despotism of the former Soviet Union's 75 year totalitarianism over its people, but also violates - nay RAPES - the spirit of the Constitution that is the basis for this country's government. Furthermore, this proposal may even be a legal infraction of both the state constitution of Florida and the U.S. Constitution, and I refer you to the recent Supreme Court decision requiring state institutions to fund ALL forms of expression, including religious. Mr. Mayeux, should you continue on this course, you will be known far and wide as a tyrant and a dictator, and be forever shuned by true Americans.
