Some Goals of ISC

Here are a few of the projects that ISC is sponsoring to help give control back to the student body:

Cooperative Bookstore & Exchange

Many other universities nationally have student-run bookstores in which new & used books and supplies are sold at cost.

Safe-Ride Service

We are working to re-establish the SG-funded shuttle service that UF has denied students because of supposed liability problems.

Legislative Day

We are preparing to go to Tallahassee to educate the State Legislature about our concerns.

Bonding of Utilities

This program would cover a student's utilites deposits while in Gainesville, in return for a nominal non-refundable deposit.

Facilities Assessment

We are researching the poor quality of UF's teaching facilities, the lack of classroom space, and potential solutions.
