Solstice Celebration Dec. 21, new location
November/December 2007

The 21st annual Veterans for Peace Winter Solstice Celebration will be held on Friday Dec. 21, 2007 at a NEW LOCATION, The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 4225 NW 34th St, at 8PM. Due to the widespread support from the community we outgrew the accommodations at the previous location (Thomas Center) and had to move.

Admission is a $5 to $10 sliding scale donation to benefit Veterans for Peace, an educational organization that advocates the abolition of war as an instrument of government policy.

Maestro Bill Hutchinson will direct an evening of songs of peace and the season featuring a Cherokee Peace Chant, Drums of Peace, John Chambers and Shade Tree, Quartermoon, Kevin O'Sullivan, Karl Miller, Other Voices, and a choir of Heavenly Semi-Angels. Donations of clothing, blankets and personal care items for the homeless are greatly appreciated.
