Get On the Bus!! - ERA Rally in Tallahassee!

On Monday, April 28, Florida NOW (National Organization for Women) will Rally to let our legislators know that women want the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) now! "Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of sex..." Every nation with a constitution drafted since World War II has women's equality included-it's time we have it here. Florida can be one of three states to put the ERA over the top.

The ERA is only part of the many things women want and need in order to have true equality. We will also let our legislators know that we won't stand for any more rollbacks on our abortion rights, and we demand they implement the universal Pre-K program we voted for in the last elections!

Please join us. There will be a bus going to Tallahassee on April 28, which will leave Gainesville at 5:00 AM, and return to Gainesville by 5:00 PM. Price is $15.00 per person /round trip. Scholarships available.
