Discussion of human rights ordinances July 29th
August 2001

On Sunday, July 29th, the Human Rights Council of North Central Florida will host a discussion of local human rights issues, including local human rights ordinances in our area protecting sexual orientation, local advocacy for human rights at state and national levels, youth and safe schools, addressing the needs of minority lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people, and developing a community volunteer and support base. There will be an opportunity to raise other topics in addition to these.

The event will be held from 1:30 to 4:30 at Boulware Springs Park Historic Waterworks building, 3400 SE 15th St. The building is air conditioned and wheelchair accessible. Call 372-5192 for more information.
