Turning Point Roadshow on Globalization Feb. 14

The Turning Point Southeast Roadshow on Corporate Globalization, Its Discontents and Alternative Visions will be appearing Wednesday night, February 14th at 8pm at the Civic Media Center, located at 1021 W. University Ave. The roadshow includes a slide-show combined with songs from folksinger David Rovics.

The event includes a discussion of corporate globalization, its effects on the southeastern US, and some positive new visions and ideas for a just and sustainable world by activists Leigh Scherberger (from Rainforest Action Network), John Johnson (Earth First!), and Soli Lawrence (community cooperative activist).
