The Gainesville Global Renaissance Alliance, Santa Fe Community College and the Seraphim Center and Chapel are sponsoring a Speaking Engagement by Marianne Williamson, internationally acclaimed author and lecturer.

She will speak at the Center for Performing Arts at UF on November 1 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available from TicketMaster or Center Box Office. $15, $30, $40, and $100 seats include private reception with Marianne before the speaking engagement.

Author of "The Healing of America," Williamson is one of the most powerful voices for social conscience and a new political understanding in American society today. As Founder of the Global Renaissance Alliance, she will introduce to Gainesville her hope of rekindling the spark of social and political concern and action. Williamson is inviting us back into the democratic process. She will also weave through her talk the essence of her newly released book "Enchanted Love: The Mystical Power of Intimate Relationships."

From silence/prayer/meditation to heartfelt discussion, from local activism to lobbying our national governments, the local Gainesville Global Renaissance Alliance is becoming a major voice for conscious change.
