The Gainesville Committee for Democracy in Mexico is hosting a conference "Mexico, Democracy and Neoliberalism" on Saturday, Feb. 20, from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm on the UF campus in Weil Hall. Co-sponsored by the Hispanic Student Association, it will bring to Gainesville Tom Hanson of the Mexico Solidarity Network and the Chiapas Video Project, as well as workshops on the School of Americas, cooperative trade, and U.S.-Mexico relations. There is no registration fee.

A fundraising concert will be held on Friday, Feb. 12 from 7-10 p.m. at th SAOCA Global Lounge (238 W. Univ.), featuring live music from 2012 and Cotton. For more info, call 381-8959.
