March 1997: Attended Motorola CopperGold technical seminar given by Ray Moshiri of Motorola.

March 1997: Attended Firewall Seminar given by ON Technology.

January 1997: Attended TI C6x DSP satellite broadcast seminar which provided preliminary technical information on the TMS320C6x DSP.

July 1996: Attended Motorola seminar including sessions on ATM, broadband access, and ADSL solutions using Motorola technology. Speakers included Phil Grove, Ben Bacque, and Jack Issa.

March 1995: Attended "Theory of Bridges and Routers: Internetworking Protocols" tutorial given by Dr. Radia Perlman at NetWorld+Interop Las Vegas.

April 1995: Attended "CNE Boot Camp" tutorial at NetWare Users International conference in Orlando, Florida. This tutorial was taught by David Clark, the author of The Clark Tests.

January - April 1995: Attended "Computer Communications" course at University of Florida. Course content emphasized ISDN, LAPB and LAPD, HDLC, 802.3, 802.4, and 802.5.

September 1994: Attended "Management with the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)" tutorial given by Dr. Jeffrey Chase at NetWorld+Interop Atlanta.

June 1994: Attended Network General Quickstart Course for Ethernet.

January - April 1994: Attended Hardware/Software Engineering course at University of Florida. Produced hardware and firmware for a Motorola 68020-based controller card.

1993 and 1994: Attended Novell developer's conferences, including sessions in the following areas: protocol architectures; NetWare routing and routing protocols (RIP, SAP, NLSP); NetWare and IP; WAN technologies; NMS and LANalyzer for Windows; ODI; NetWare, NMS, and Windows development; UnixWare; Token Ring.

July 1993: Attended short course on broadband video given by A. S. Johnson.
