| Why would you not want the government to help protect the streets from those juveniles who carry guns and other weapons for "protection?" Between the years of 1985 and 1994, the murder rate of juveniles has skyrocketed to an amazing 150 percent. Would you want those people out on the streets killing off your family, friends, YOU? Juveniles don't cope well with society. Most think that to be "cool" you must be in a gang and own a weapon. They also consider killing as fun or a fact of life. Sure there are some young adults that have their ethics straight, but why, then, do they complain about making their world safer? Look, we all must give up some of our personal freedom to make this world a good place to live in, not a good place to die in. If you are one of those who considers gangs, drugs, violence, and murder wrong, be proud. Think of yourself as a hero! You're sacrificing a part of your life and your freedom for the better of your country, people, and YOU! Yes, the goverment should use curfews to better improve our great nation. |

I liked the way giuliani put it the other day (if you're in ny like me): under 18 can't be out after certain time (i don't remember what time i think midnight) unless: 1)with a parent 2)attending a religious function I think we need some sort of control. this world is getting really out of hand. |

You have these so-called "bad" kids who cause trouble and the streets would be safer if they were off them at night.
