There are a few stores in the downtown area (Johnson Street) in Hawthorne, Florida. We can get horse and chicken feed in the hardware store and also flowers, plants and bird seed. The barber shop is a great place to get haircuts and shaves. |
| At the Key Shop you can buy drinks in their drink machine and get keys made. They also have ice-cream. It is a very old building. The Public Library is also downtown and we can go check books out, read books and listen to stories. The Girl Scouts troup went to the Fire Station to plant flowers and grass and the Post Office is always open to mail letters. | |
