Offering all divisions of play in Babe Ruth Baseball from T-ball (where no score is kept) to Babe-Ruth (where the competition is great). Boys and girls ages 5-16 are eligible to participate.

  • T-Ball (5-6 year-olds)
    Instructional only--no scores are kept and participants are taught batting, base-running, throwing and catching.  Seven-year-olds may be included if they have never played before

  • Rookie Ball (7-8 year-olds)
    Instructional play at a more advanced level.  Pitching machine is used to insure that all pitches are across home plate.  Emphasis is placed on the basics of throwing, running, and understanding the concepts of baseball.

  • Minor Ball (9-10 year-olds)
    More advanced to keep up with the player's growing skills. Emphasis is placed on the basics of baseball as well as good sportsmanship.

  • Major Ball (11-12 year-olds)
    More advanced and competitive play with emphasis placed on the fundamentals and strategies of baseball.

  • Babe Ruth (13-15 year-olds)
    Higher in competitive ability. More advanced and competitive play with emphasis placed on the fundamentals and strategies of baseball.

 

The  Sports Complex is on Highway 20, west of Hawthorne.

Team sponorship can be participated at the following levels.

  • $500 - Full Team Sponsorhip. Pays for uniforms and trophies. Sponsors name will be on sleeve, back of jersey or on hat and will be listed in our bi-monthly newsletter as a team sponsor.
  • $350 - Uniform Sponsor. Pays for uniforms. Name will be on sleeve, back of jersey or on hat and will be listed in our bi-monthly newslettter as a team sponsor.
  • $150 - Trophy Sponsor. Pays for trophies for each of the players on team. Sponsorship name will be engraved on trophy.
